Pressing Service

Our professional comic pressing service is designed to improve the presentation of your comic before it is submitted to CGC for grading. Pressing can help reduce or remove many non-colour-breaking defects, such as spine rolls, bends, waviness, light creases, handling wear and minor surface imperfections, giving your book the best possible opportunity to achieve its highest potential grade.

Every comic is individually assessed before pressing, and we only recommend the process where we believe it will benefit the book. We take great care throughout the entire process, treating every submission as if it were part of our own collection.

Pricing

• £15 per comic for the initial professional press.

• If, after inspection, we believe the comic would benefit from additional pressing, a second or third press can be carried out Free Of Charge. We will always assess the book carefully before undertaking any extra work.

Please note that while pressing can significantly improve the appearance of many comics, it cannot repair colour-breaking creases, tears, missing pieces, restoration, stains or other permanent damage, and no specific CGC grade can ever be guaranteed.
